Rota-V Antibody Tubes for calves
Boosts the calf natural immunity against the main scour causing infections. One tube administered within first eight hours of life, will provide protection for 4 - 6 weeks. Works on a similar principle as vaccinating the calf's mother. Instead of the calf receiving the protection from the cow's colostrum, it receives the antibody directly from the ROTA-V tube. Rotavirus scours cannot be treated, they must be prevented. The only effective protection comes from high levels of antibodies in the calf's gut which act as a barrier to the infection. ROTA-V provides this. Easy to administer, with no risk of spreading infection from calf to calf. When using a vaccine, the cow has to be vaccinated at the correct stage of pregnancy. This is not an issue when using ROTA-V.
